AVERY ELIZABETH HARSHALL celebrated her first birthday July 19. She is the daughter of Kathy and John Harshall of Springettsbury Township; the granddaughter of Karen and Rodney Scott of Lower Windsor Township and Mary and Greg Harshall of West Manchester Township; and the great-granddaughter of Dottie Lunsford of West York and Thomas Scott of Wrightsville. She enjoys playing with her sister, Emma, and her dog, Scout.

ABIGAIL HANSEN will be 7 years old Saturday. She is the daughter of Bridget and Dan Hansen of Manchester Township and the granddaughter of Sheila and Jim Hoffman of York Township.

KYLAR MILLER turned 8 years old Thursday. He is the son of Stacie Miller of Manchester Township and Christopher Miller of Harford County, Md., and the grandson of Sharon and Wayne Dorbert of Springettsbury Township and Patricia and Terry Keller of York Township. He will be a third-grade student at Hayshire Elementary School in the Central York School District.

VALERIE R. JARRETT celebrated her first birthday Tuesday. She is the daughter of Kelly and Kevin Jarrett of Windsor Township and the granddaughter of Donna and Bud Hildebrand of Red Lion and Sharon Dacheux of Windsor Township.
